The Seaside natural landscape sanctuary was founded in 1978. The boundaries of the reserve go through all local commune administration units constituting The Puck District and through The Puck Bay. It is considered to be an extremely attractive area affluent in numerous natural, historical, cultural and sight-seeing points of interest. All three natural elements: earth, water and air have contributed to its characteristics. All types of seashore shapes characteristic for a southern part of The Baltic are present there: cliffs, dunes and low flood land. The diversification results from dynamic geomorphological processes occuring wherever the land meets the sea: abrasion, accumulation and eolithic processes.
